Where It Began
Goody2Shoes was my childhood nickname. It wasn't always meant as a compliment — but somewhere along the way, I decided to wear it like a badge of honor.
Doing right by others and yourself isn't something to be ashamed of. It's something to grow into. And growing — slowly, imperfectly, with love — is what this whole place is about.
About the Wings
I believe we spend our human lives growing our angel wings.
We can't see them. They aren't something we are simply given. They are developed throughout a lifetime — in the way we love, the kindness we give, the mistakes we learn from, the people we help, the pain we survive, the forgiveness we find, and the moments when we choose to care for another living being.
Every human journey creates a different pair.
Maybe we don't get to see our wings while we're here. Maybe we finally see what we created when our human journey is complete and we return to our Creator.
Goody2Shoes is about what we do while we're here.
This is a personal belief — not a religious doctrine. No particular religion owns kindness, love, compassion, or the mystery of where we came from and where we eventually return. Everyone is welcome here, regardless of religion, culture, background, identity, or personal beliefs.
The Mission
To put more kindness into the world. To create a place where people can slow down, look, read, feel, think, and connect. To share art, words, and stories that remind us what being human can be at its best.
